Since education is an abstract concept, it is difficult to provide a clear definition for it. Education does not contain just one idea. It contain a wide range of ideas such as learning, teaching, enjoyment, training etc... This also makes it' difficult to define education. In a nutshell, education is the dissemination of knowledge and optimism. The advancement of a traditional culture is also a result of education.  It highlight a person's innate talents. Hones them and convinces them of their value. What happens in education is the use of different teaching methods. Education is practiced in almost every country and many are enjoying the benefits of learning.

  Katharagama is a land of many miracles. The majority of Sri Lankan Buddhists, a small number of Tamil, Hindus and Muslims and the Vedda people perform rituals. The katharagama dewala perahera is held every year. This perahera festival is held in the month of August in every year. This can be described as a very colorful processing. The processing is full of various dance element. The ascension of God's jewels is central here. The procession consists of up country and low country, sabaragamuwa and Tamil, Muslim dances. Everyone men and women, can dance in this procession. Many people come to watch this procession. The katharagama devala perahera is another occasion that showcases the art and culture of our country.
